Thaddeus Rex Program Sponsored by Target
We
received a $2,000 check from Target to sponsor a performance by Thaddeus Rex, a
PBS veteran. Thaddeus Rex’s educational rock concerts show kids specific
benefits of becoming a frequent reader. This sounds like a wonderful program and
we are very grateful to Target for this donation.
[UPDATE 11/01/10]: Join us at the Westfield High School Auditorium on Saturday, December 4, 2011 at 10 a.m., for this free concert featuring Thaddeus Rex and his best friend Rock. See the program that’s inspired over 250,000 kids across America to get reading. With songs inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Captain Underpants, Green Eggs and Ham, and more, kids can experience the connection between reading and songwriting. The WestfieldWashington Public Library is able to present this award-winning musician thanks to a generous grant from Target.
